Hello,
Just started reloading for my stock G19 tonight with montana gold 124grn JHPs.

I fired both 4.0 and 4.3 grains of bullseye with no noticable difference but im a terrible shot even off a rest (workin' on it!).

I know every gun is different, but anyone load bullseye with 124 grain JHPs? I loaded to 1.075" (XTPs are reccomended 1.06, but I tried a lil longer for safety and they functioned 100%)

I know bullseye is not the perfect 9mm powder but I have lots, dont want a different powder, and the recoil is nice with both the loads I tried.

So...

From alliant web site CCI 500 Bullseye 4.4 1,059fps

Alliant Powder - Reloader's Guide

Nothing wrong with bullseye for target loads just stay away from max and watch min overall length and make sure you don't get bullet setback when chambering.

If you want safer higher velocity go with something slower like blue dot or AA#7.

4.3 gr of BE and 124gr FMJ work fine in my Sig.

I recently compared all the "recipes" I could find for BE and 124/5 gr FMJ's. They ranged from 4.4 - to 4.9 for the Max. loads and 3.8- 3.9 for the Min. loads. These were all from bullet and powder manufacturers manuals.

It looks like we're all pretty consistent. I find 4.2 grains of Bullseye with a 124 gr FMJ works best in my 5906, and 4.3 grains in my 92fs. Try loading up 5 each going from 3.9 to 4.4 (for example) and see what looks best.
Good luck!

The Alliant 2005 reloading guide lists 4.9 gr.of Bullseye as a max with 124 gr. FMJ OAL=1.15", 1155fps, 32000psi. I use 4.3 gr. bullseye with for ca 1050 fps. I also use Bullseye with the 147 gr. FMJ. In my opinion Bulseye bis one of the most universal pistol propellants. If you want a copy of the 9mm data from the Alliant 2005 guide PM me with your e-mail address.
