I was recently in need of some factory ammo in the original box and found some Remington Express 115 gr jhp +P at a gunshow.. The code is R9mm6. Is there any track record on this?

Good stuff, feeds like ball. Expansion may not be exceptional, but if you put it where it needs to go it will do the job. It's my second choice.

I have been using Hornady critical defense for a while now, seemed to have some pretty good results.

It's so close to ball in profile that it will feed in my P-38...no other HP will.

Remington Express is pretty good ammunition, no matter how dated the bullet design may be. Sort of like the Winchester Silvertip. Good is good in my book.

I'd carry it with confidence, no doubt about that.
