9mm K-frame?

This is going to sound like an odd idea, but I have a question. Is there a way to make a 9 mm K frame? Specifically, something like a model 15 or model 67.
 
It probably could be done, but you'd have to make a special extractor system, and probably have to add a second firing pin to hold the cartridges in the cylinder. Might as well bob the hammer while you're at it.
 
still have issues with magnum round damage to the forcing cone..

still cant get around 115 grain bullet moving at 1200 fps
 
S&W has a 9mm J-frame out now if you want to go smaller. I built a "9640" years ago by fitting a factory 940 cylinder to a 640 Centennial. It's a really neat little gun.
 
Yes, it certainly can be done. TK custom and likely others can machine a cylinder to accommodate the 9mm cartridge and moon clips. I had another gunsmith convert a 686 cylinder to 9mm with moon clips.
