I've not heard such, have the 9pro with several hundard down the tube so far without a problem.

Your post says you have the "compact" and it works great. I'm looking at one now NIB without the new thumb safety. Any ammo it won't digest ? FTF or FTE ?

Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.

Purchased a M&P9Pro which is similar to the M&P9L several months ago - flawless functioning to date.

I have over a thousand rounds through it, mostly 115gr WWB and 115gr winchester silvertips which is my carry round. Its run dirty, clean, in between. It shoots very accurately and reliably. Its comfortable and concealable. Doesn't get much better.

I have one with a couple hundred rounds through it with no problems. It's away right now having a trigger job.

I have a 9 Pro with nearly 1,000 rounds of mostly lead reloads through it with no failures. I had a big box of junk loads I'd collected over the last year or so and it swallowed every one of them.
