Found a NOS box of S&W 125 grain 9mm Nyclad. 50 rounds, $10. WOO HOO! As cheaper or cheaper than FMJ around here. I will most likely just stash it away but what are your thoughts on the 9mm nyclad? I know that the .38 is the bees knees, but I haven't heard much on the 9mm.

I have a few boxes left, and carry the ammo in my short barreled 642's.

The standard pressure 125 gr. load has an excellent rep for expansion, the +P load less so (supposedly a harder alloy).

The 158 gr. Nyclad does not expand well (so I am told).

I have water tested the standard pressure 125's, and they do expand nicely.

The Speer Gold Dot short barrel loads are the latest "darlings" for short barrels.

You did very well indeed. I shot up my nyclad 9mm long ago. It did really well in a 6906. Accurate and good expansion.

Wow, I'd be happy with that purchase. I carry Federal's 9BP standard-pressure 115-grain load in my Star BM, but I'd gladly trade that out for the Nyclads that you bought.

And the price! Whoa!
