I believe the S&W spec is 6.5 lb but my Shield 40 measures closer to 7 lb.

They were probably not moving very well at $449. Seems like Shields are readily available now. It's good to see the price coming down. And yes SOSS is a good place to deal with, in my experience.

Well sh!t, I just picked one up at a local shop, I was in so much shock that it ess there in front of me I pounded on it, I could have saved about $100 counting tax and all. Go grab one at this price while available.
