Hey everyone. Does anyone know where I can get a 9x25 Dillon barrel for my 1076? Has anyone done this?
I know I could do it with a Wolf barrel for a Glock, but I try to stay away from Austrian plastic :)
Thanks!

WisconsinKen, There is a chance if forum memeber Bad_Man_One can start back on the barrel project he started. He is making me another 9x25Dillon barrel for my S&W1006 at 6" long when he can get time on the CNC machines to finish the projects.

However, barrels shorter than 5" leave a lot on the table with respect top this cartridge velocity wise. I have a Bar-Sto 9x25Dillon match grade conversion 5.00" barrel for my S&W1006 that I purchased from Mike McNett of Double Tap Ammo. I had to fit it to the slide and frame and then have the chamber reamed for proper head spacing to get things right.

I have shot some of Mike's ammo and the stuff I load for myself, but I don't get to the velocities developed using the 6.00" barrels. It has been very neat to be able to enjoy this cartridge from the S&W1006 platform. Shooting the 9x25Dillon from the Glock 29 with the 3.78" barrel shows it to be even less velocity than the 5.00" by almost 100 fps with the same loads.

Good luck...

Thanks Shadow1006.

I was hoping there was a super secret top secret supply of them. However, I love my 1076 the way she is. Now that I think about it, I'd probably feel a lot better basterdizing a Glock iwth drop in barrels from Lone Wolf so maybe I'll keep my eyes open for a G20. Lone Wlaf has drop is for this in 9x25, 40 S&W and 357 Sig.
Thanks!

Don't be discouraged, if Bad Man One builds a barrel it will be pretty much a drop in fit. I may still ask him to make me one for my 1066 with a 5.25" barrel, to gain the extra length. He will need to reduce the dia. of the forward inch of the barrel, this will allow it to pass thru the barrel bushing.
