A couple of years ago my daughter gave me a piggy bank for Christmas. The base is 3 inches across as is the top. It is 5 inches tall and at it's widest point, the circumference is 18 inches. It is full to the top with quarters. In addition, there may be 10 or 12 half dollars included. I am going to take it to the credit union in the next day or 2 and have the coins counted. Anyone want to guess as to the value of the coins?

I am not sure I have a prize for the winner, but you could take great pride in knowing how smart you are.

deduke only missed by 2.75. There was 167.50 in the jar.

Wow...either you are way off the mark, or I can't count...LOL

Pretty sure it's prolly $650. That's enough for a new gun!

I'm in for about $150.00.

$101.25

As A side note. I had a 5 gallon water bottle filled to the neck with nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars and another filled about one quarter with pennies. I took them to one of the supermarkets with an automatic sorter/counter. I had almost $4000.00 in change in one of the bottles. In the other bottle reserved for lincoln's I had almost $500.00 in pennies. That change made for one HELL of a nice hunting trip to CANADIA this past September, and the rest was doled out to my two nieces as a Chrismas present. They both got close to $500.00 in change. And to think it only took me about two years to save that much in change, way before One Big Ass Mistake America, said it was time for change. I guess they will have to fight Barak for the last few pennies.
