Made this cheese spread for a small get together on New's Year eve.It didn't last long.Might make a good addition to any Super Bowl spread or any other occasion you're thinking about doing. It will keep in the fridge for a week or more but there's usually never any left over.

Here goes...

16oz. Philadelphia cream cheese (preferred brand)
1 cup sour cream
1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried dill
2 tbsp dried onion flakes
3-4 ea serrano peppers (finely minced)

Bring the cream cheese to room temperature to make blending easier.I usually mix one block of cream cheese with the sour cream first and then add the rest of the cream cheese.Mix the rest of the ingredients one at a time to blend evenly.

I have a small food processor I use to mince the peppers. If you want to start with only 1 or 2 peppers that's okay. You might even want to substitute a couple jalapeno's instead.

I like this spread on Triscuit Roasted Garlic crackers. The spread sneaks up on you leaving a warm but nice feeling in the back of your throat.

Sorry but I don't do videos...

Sounds like one my wife makes, only hers has pimentos and either sharp or old white cheddar. Never lasts long around here either. I like to thin-slice a baguette, butter the slices and then lightly toast in the oven in lieu of crackers.

Sounds good! Do you spread the cheese mixture on the baquette before toasting? Some cheeses melt better than others.
