Been a few years now, since this was commissioned. 14.5 " with a hand forged blade, pure silver in the guard area, ebony with silver and brass pins. From original takeoff of a piece in the National collections.

That's a fine lookin' "sticker" and that's plumb center.

I love a nice bowie...and that is nice. The carbon blade has developed a great patina. I'd like to see more nice customs like that on this forum.
 
That's a fine looking Bowie... I really like some of the reproduction knives with a historical basis made by modern bladesmiths. I'll have to dig through my rendezvous gear and start a thread on historical type blades.
