Ok boys and girls, ever since yeti pulled their stunt with the NRA I've observed not a few viral videos of patriots, shooting, blowing up and otherwise abusing extremely over priced coolers.
I'm all for political free speech but I don't have four or five hundred dollars to burn to make a point.
Here's my thought: sell your yeti at a discount price, say $100.00 less than you paid, then put the cash towards a new cooler from a NRA friendly company. Yeti loses a sale, a patriotic company gets a sale and you save most of your investment at the same time.
Or not, those videos are entertaining.

That don't make no sense?

They already have your money.

You lose a good cooler and $100, and the cooler is still in use

Put a NRA decal over the Yeti name or something.

I am not giving all my LL Bean Clothes to charity and still may eat at Panera Bread if my Wife makes me ( I don't care for the food , don't care about their no gun rule)

it does make sense, ... its just a little more complex than a point A -> B problem.
you see .. Yeti has YOUR money, not the money of someone still in the market for a Yeti cooler.
By underselling to that individual, you intercept that direct sale.

At least thats the core theory.
making it practical is a different matter

We then need to do a cost analysis with charts and graphs and feasibility study to project how many individuals selling their coolers will bring Yeti to it's knees.

NRA is now giving away stickers to paste on your Yeti products. I don't remember what they say. I suppose anything with NRA on it would work as well.

If you were . . . umm . . . trying not to say dumb enough . . . of a mind to spend $400 on a Yeti they already have your money. Killing it or giving it away or running over it with a steamroller or whatever does nothing to Yeti. You're only hurting yourself.

Use it. If it makes you feel better paint over the Yeti logo, but use what you spent your hard earned money for. Just don't buy any more, okay?

Thank you. An example: every used Toyota pickup truck sold on the used car market is one less potential new truck sale for Toyota. That's why Henry Ford used to buy up as many used cars as possible and destroy them. To increase his new car sales. Flood the market with used Yeti coolers and Yeti gets less sales. Their stupid high prices only make the sale of used examples easier.

OK, Which model Yeti do you have. How much is it shipped to Florida?

Please post pictures, do you have the case and papers?

I'll buy it.

Better yet make it a KARMA!:D

Just don't buy any more Yeti products. Use it now that you own it. They are crazy priced anyway.
This is a side note but related to all the businesses that dropped NRA endorsement as they done a few months ago, I cancelled my NRA Platinum Visa card I had used for 20 years. It was issued thru First Bank of Omaha and they don't get my business anymore. Shame on them

I prefer Igloo coolers. But if someone wants to do a video on how well Federal C357B does against Yeti coolers, I will gladly supply a box!
