A couple of 66-2's..lets see others

Hey guys

Here are a couple of recent additions to my collection. M66-2 4" and a 6". Both are in their original boxes, with paperwork. I'm not really into 6" revolvers, but the 6" had the combats as part of the package (original targets as well) and sort of has grown on me to some degree. It is interesting how the 4" has a printed box label, which the 6" has a handwritten end label.

I have the same versions in the same barrel lengths except mine have target triggers and hammers. They are my favorite Smith & Wesson revolvers and I'm sure you'll love yours too.

Those are mighty fine looking 66's. I have a no dash but don't have a pic handy, but here is 175 year Lousiville Police Dept 66-2.

I'm in Virginia and bought the 6" with the combats and original grips locally off one of our gun boards. The 4" was bought from "geraldw321" off here. It is the one he posted about a few weeks ago. BTW..super guy to deal with

This 66-2 snub is the first S&W i have owned.

Like Jughed440, my Model 66-2 was my first S&W revolver. A previous owner jeweled the hammer and trigger and did a first rate trigger job. I'll never sell it, my survivors will have to deal with her.

I bought this 66-2 for $600 and came with 500 rnds of 38 spl and 300 rds of 357 mag. I felt pretty good coming out of that deal.

Here's my only 66-2 a 3" model I picked up last year. Nice pics guys. ls6man you might as well pick up that 4" -3 that popped up locally also. It would go nice with your collection.

I actually bought back a 66-2 2.5" with original box/paperwork this morning..I had sold it locally and was able to get it back for what I sold it for (too cheap...lol)

I had to update the pic.. I think I'm missing a 66-2 3" but based on what I've seen for pricing...that one might have to wait. Is there an 8 3/8" 66-2?
