Took these two guys out today. I haven't had the 52 out in a while. They sure don't make them like they used to.

There has been times when I thought about selling the 52 then I shoot it again and think I must be nuts.

Outside of the PC guns of old , 2 of the finest guns S&W made . The 41 is still in production , but I can't speak on them . It's been like 70+ years , so I guess they are doing something right . But I do cringe thinking of what a modern 52 would be like .

Very nice! Like to see the price if made now on some of these models. Might be pretty mind boggling! Thankfully one can come across a used version now and then. Recall when even the 39 was going for $125 new.

I use Matchdot II red dot by Ultradot on my 41 for Bullseye competition. I highly recommend Ultradot products.

Mine is a standard 1 inch Ultra Dot. I have a couple they are good and dependable.
