I have a buddy who is looking for a belt that has the loops for .22LR ammo, he ordered one that advertised as genuine leather but was not. This for his grandson who is 10-11 years old and he wants to allow some room for his grandson to grow into it. Any one have suggestions or recommendations for something they would have if it was for their grandson? I would think a 38" waist size could be worn as a bandoleer and then as a belt later on. Appreciate any suggestions and ideas you can offer!

Neat idea but I don't know if I'd want to advertise that I had that much 22LR ammo.

This is just a thought, but you may want to keep in mind that all 22 LR ammo is outside lubricated, and thus susceptible to picking up dirt. Any foreign matter, including particles of an abrasive nature, are going to be driven right through the bore, potentially damaging the firearm.

Hunter leather also makes one. I have one it is very high quality.
