I just opened a Priority package that the mailman brought and
found this gorgeous old Seventrees Transporter proto-type. A
gift from my friend Ken Null. It is a perfect fit for my Colt's Agent
probably made for Detective Special. Ken tells me that this
holster was in a box of "stuff" when he took over Seventrees
about 50 years ago.
Ken had put a pull-thru snap on one of my old Seventrees holsters
so I sent him one of my books as a token of my appreciation. He
didn't need to send the holster, but I do appreciate it. Besides
being a first class holster maker, Ken is a first class guy.
Holster front on left.
Holster back 2nd from left which shows the very early Seventrees
maker stamp.

I have a few holsters from ken now and they just get better every day. The great part is what a gentleman he is and his impeccable honesty ! I have had a few short phone calls with him and he is just a pleasure to speak with.

Thread bend:

Tell me about those grips! I have only seen one set like that before.

Craig Spegel made those grips for me in 2013. They were 80 bucks then,
but inflation has probably taken over by now. They are called extended
boots. The wood is Granadillo. It makes that old Agent almost presentable.
Here is another picture that is a little better maybe.

Ken Null's holsters are incomparable. One of his ankle holsters got me through 23 years of federal law enforcement...and is still going strong...as are the other holsters he's furnished over the years.
