Gene DeSantis' company now offers horsehide

I was born in NYC and grew up on Long Island's south shore, about 5 minutes from the beach. Although I didn't appreciate it at the time, it was a great place to grow up back then. Great schools, great restaurants, nice suburbs. Did I mention the beaches ?

Greg Kramer also was from Long Island.

I lived in Brooklyn and Queens until I was 18. My parents then moved to the South Shore of LI. When I got married in 1979 we moved to the North Shore and lived there for 43 years. I could not live in NYS any longer! We had a beautiful home in a gorgeous area, but politically I did not belong there anymore and was very unhappy. Just 10 years prior to us moving I never even gave thought to moving. Well, that swiftly changed! That said, I am a happy camper now!

South Shore, too. Hewlett Harbor and Woodmere.

Became a lifeguard in the summers.
It's a given we can't stand the politics there now.

Unlike someone we know.

If the shoe fits: think of me as providing much-needed critiques to fend off the waves of bare publicity that gun writers are paid to write. For example, AH is all advertising, all the time, and so gun mags are not news sources. A favourite example is the 1968 publicity that Seventrees received; not only were all the authors directors of the company (Zwirz, Cooper, etc) but the company only existed on paper! The examples shown all were prototypes made in 1967. And Cooper showed them to our mutual friend Bruce Nelson who promptly copied them.

Don't think of factual information as running down anyone, unless they are only legends in their own minds. P.S. they are not 'other' holster makers to me, I've been retired for years, so I'm not a holster maker at all. I call my self 'the Holstorian'.
