A GOOD READ

The author of "Forrest Gump", Winston Groom, has a new book out called "El Paso". It is a historical novel of sorts about Pancho Villa and the Mexican revolution. It is well worth the time to read. Groom is a fellow Alabamian, a Viet Nam veteran infantry officer and a mighty fine storyteller.

My sister gave me that book for Christmas. It was a fun read, with various historical figures popping up here and there.
