A Great Week For 586's with a 39-2 On the Side

I posted here in Dec about my 'new' 586 no dash w/ 6" barrel to keep my 686-6 plus company. So here I am sitting minding my own business when a friendly forum member sends me an email about some nice guns another forum member has offered. Well it didn't take long to see that one of the offerings was a very nice 586-5 4". So I posted the "I'll take it" and figured that was that. But nooo, I'm perusing the local classifieds this week and lo and behold another 586 no dash 8-3/8" that I had my eye on was suddenly reduced for urgent sale. What would you do?
The nickel 39-2, well that's been on my hit list a while and it materialized today.
So here is the first public showing of my 586 family with the 39-2 on the side. I would also show you the gun account but its empty.

I too went out to look for a 39-2 today and as much as I wanted to like it the trigger gaurd was a tad too small for my finger to comfortably fit with ease. Instead I came home with a 624 and a Trooper.

How about a 686 no dash 4inch? Not mine but listed on our Texas board, but a little pricey if you ask me. Good luck with your search.

I bought a 686 no dash last year and it's my favorite gun. Traded a Glock and a couple hundred bucks for another 686-3, which gets shot while the no dash sits in my safe.

LOl, I'm hoping that they do. There is one more out there that may be a little hard to find. Pg 248 of the Standard Catalog shows a 2 1/2 inch 586.

You know that's right! If you look at post 8 and my response in 9, I'm hoping for a miracle one of these days when I open the safe door and that little one is sitting there waiting for me. However I know the only way to get it is to find it. Do you have one you don't need?
