School is about to start so my 12 year old grandson came up from the city. We went bass fishing each morning and then home to eat. We then went to the range and shot for a few hours. I am now reloading and hoping to get one of the grandsons back soon. He wants my 28-2 when I get old. So I guess I'm not old, just yet. It just does not get any better.

Not a single mention of Facebook, texting, or video games. That 12 year old is one lucky grandson!
You sound like a great family that knows what is important in life....I had a model 62 winchester pump 22cal rifle and a S&W 66no dash, 28-2,colt diamondback 22 cal and a colt huntsman with us each day . The Huntsman could have been a mistake as it is a 10 shot clip pistol. The pistol sounded like an auto pistol at times. As I told the man next range over " I was the same way at 12". We went thru 4 boxes of 555 rounds for the week. My grandson's know there is always plenty of ammo. I want them to enjoy shooting and hunting.
