First of all, this is hands down, one of the best guns I’ve shot since I can remember! I’m absolutely in love with it. I just got a new comp carry comp. I’ve gotta say, this thing is a unit!! Absolute flattest shooting gun I’ve ever owned, accurate, lightweight, but mainly for me it’s about recoil and snap back mitigation. And it does all those things very well imho.
I was in a bad motorcycle accident in ‘13. Crushed my entire right side, and broke my back. I’ve recovered from some of the damage but some of it is here to stay. So my right shoulder, has a range of motion (or lack there of) is around 10-15% of use from my elbow down. It sucks but I’m pretty good at the work arounds.
All that being said, I don’t believe that I’ll change much of anything, other than a good optic and possibly a “gas pedal” in place of the stock takedown lever. None of which was a thing, the last time I bought a new gun about 10-12 years. The red dots were just becoming popular, but I rarely saw them on EDC back then. I’m still in search of the right IWB Appendix carry holster, and optic.
And lastly, do any of you guys/gals have any experience using “gas pedals”? You could share with me? They just seem perfect for my situation, I need all the control I can get. Just not sure of the practicality for EDC. Thoughts?
