That's the problem. "A well tuned 1911" is not factory and costs money. While I like the 1911 I don't like to buy something and then have to pay for it to work better. That's like buying a new car at full price and then going to buy an engine. I'm also not a fan of having things fitted. That means I don't have the gun and I have to pay hopefully a competent gunsmith a lot of money. Lots of rifles have a longer and or heavier pull. FAL, HK91, PTR 91 and their copies, SCAR, AK, VZ58, most stock ARs, in fact most combat rifles.I've never understood putting a double action trigger on an auto. The crisp SA trigger on a well tuned 1911 is tough to beat. How many people have long heavy triggers on their rifles and shotguns?
