A new store opened in Round Rock Texas......and guess what???
They DIDN'T have any Freaking SHIELDS. It had all kinds of pistols on the wall 30 feet long. But no SHIELDS. You know if I was in charge I would have called S & W and said hey: I;m opening a new store so give me a pallet of SHIELDS for the front door. So I could help these people protect themselves in Texas. But nooooo we have to wait like everyone else. Hehehehhehee

As long as you don't mind a safety Gander Mountain on I-35 and the local Academy carry the shield. I recently bought mine at Red's Indoor range since it was the only local place I could find a safety-less version.

So, if a new store opens you expect them to be Direct with S&W and can get as much of anything they want? That is what distributors are for and guns are allocated to them and they in turn allocate to dealers based on the quantity/value of your orders...
