Well the rain finally let off and just in time. I managed to shoot USPSA on Saturday with the 625 and ICORE this morning with the 627. Gotta head down the basement now, demoon the empties and clean guns.

Life is good!

Sounds like a good weekend.
We have had bad weather or a serious threat of bad weather every match for 6 months. Our last good weather shoot was October. We take November off so deer hunters have the range for sight in. From December on we have had rain, or snow every match. I am ready to get over it, and have some good weather for a change.

I hear you. It's a local tradition that we shoot ICORE in the rain. It was nice to have the pasters actually stick to the targets Sunday.

It sounds like you had a fun weekend.

I had a pretty good gun oriented weekend also.

Friday I shot all 18 stages of the Cherokee(GA) Wheelgun Championship with the other safety Officers. It took nine straight hours. I shot my 66-1.
Saturday I was back to work the match as a SO. I was there from 8 am to 6 pm.

Sunday I went to our regular IDPA match and we had 92 shooters so they asked me if I would run a squad as a SO. We started at 10 and finished 7 stages at about 3:00. I stayed to help tear down the stages.
I was pretty whipped by Sunday night.

Good on you frankw! I always try to do my part be it RO, scorer or taper. I'm always annoyed by those that stand around in the shade watching others take care of business.

Actually the shooters were really great. I never had to ask for pasters, they were right there.

It makes a big difference when folks pitch in.
