No I'm not looking for an alternative, I've already settled on the novak front and rear sights I'm just wondering if that target assembly is a permanent fixture or if it can be taken off without leaving anything on it Vs what it looks like on the ones with the standard models sights:
personally I'm going to go with this with the novak sights and the 4506's right side safety minus the engraving:

and the beadblasting is the main thing I'm kinda iffy on, the plan was to recreate the look of the gun before it in the show with that silver finish over stainless

but I'm starting to think it would look alright as it is without it, my main gripe with the normal sights is that it looked unbalanced and stubby and the right side safety assembly just looks wrong and would look better as a 4506 lever
