A RARE COLT PYTHON COLLECTION TO ENJOY

A friend of mine and serious local revolver collector is re-cataloguing his collection. I asked him to send me photos of his Python collection to share on the forum. His Pythons are ca. 1970, and include all 5 barrel lengths ( 2.5, 3, 4, 6, 8), unfired ( unturned ), hang tags, boxes/packaging, and consecutive serial numbers. Enjoy !!

He definitely has. His Colt revolver collection is something to behold. If I gave his name, some here would recognize him.

Believe it. They are truly consecutive serial numbers. I've seen them. They were purchased as a factory set back in the day.

I can't imagine the dollar value of that collection...has he had it appraised?

That's one of the reasons he is re-cataloging all his Colts. They will be consigned to a major firearms auction house sometime this year. At least that's his plan. All I know is he's been offered a "chunk" for the Pythons.
