A small victory in NY

The issuing Judge will probably put a 'No Concealed Carry' restriction on it.

wow wonder if I can get a permit to take a handgun to my son's place upstate NY from NJ?

Interesting they ruled a part timer can get one but avoided answering the constitutionality question, at least based on my read of that story.

It fascinates me how courts take such narrow, incremental approaches. that's a good thing, their job is to not let that pendulum swing too hard or too fast, but still interesting how they pull it off.

Like you said, a small victory but I'll take every one we can get. I'm sure New Yorkers will take it.

Hmmm. Even though I'm covered under LEOSA I may have to try and get one up there. I've owned a place in the Finger Lakes for about 7 years now.

IT'S A TRICK!
They're just trying to hang on to a few producers.

Texas needs 2A supporters to move here, offsetting the antis that are moving here. Not as crowded, lower taxes....:)

Id love to move to TX, just not possible right now. Maine is not as bad as other stats when it comes to 2A rights and we currently have no hot button anti gun agenda bills being rammed through but that does not mean things cannot change. This state becomes more like Mass every year.
