...had a little time here at lunch to post before returning to shoveling eighteen inches of new snow...and splitting firewood...
I believe the man sitting down is telling the man with the strong back to take his deer, too.
I've actually done that with a "small" 1 1/2 yr old deer......was easier than dragging it or quartering it and then carrying it out.
Now the deer on the ground is another matter.....certainly wouldn't try to carry it.

Deadwood photo company, wow. I wonder if it is taken in that area of SD ? That is where Wild Bill got shot playing cards. The saloon is still there. My wife and I were out there many moons ago when we first got married. Cool old town if you ever get out that direction.
