Red Nichols has called me a lucky b... and I suppose I am, but
I am wondering if I'm pushing my luck a little bit too far to try
another auction? So far, due to the extreme generosity of two
forum members, 6518John and Bekeart, we have raised $900
for the forum, for the auction of just 2 of my holsters. Should
I try a third?

First, I will need to choose a suitable holster. Then get the ball
rolling by starting the auction with my own bid. I wouldn't want
to buy my own holster, but on this Thanksgiving Day, I believe
what John said in the holster forum. The forum is a blessing for
which we can all be thankful.

OK HERE IS THE HOLSTER I HAVE CHOSEN. It is a Heiser
model 457, made for Colt's Detective Special, Cobra & Agent.
The FBI chose the model 457 for its issue holster for many years.
It actually fits better with S&W's J frame, which is probably
what it carried in it's previous live. The Colts are a bit tight.
Will also work with Ruger's SP101 & probably LCR.
Photos Left to Right:

Left is front of the holster
2nd is back of holster
3rd is holster with Colt's Agent
4th is holster with S&W 642 J Frame
5th shows my Colt's Agent in the Hieser holster on a Chic Gaylord
belt. The knife is a Buck and the hat is by Resistol.

I will start the bidding at $50.
