A unique belt?

Folks - has anyone had experience with this belt manufacturer or any knowledge? The company advertises on our site. Time for a new belt (pants, too). Don't ask why.
I appreciate the feedback.

NEVER used this type, however they seem to be a copy of a MISSION belt i have owned for about 3 years. Great belt that i use every day. Has no holes, but rather the so-call railroad track inside of the belt which allows you to wear the belt as lose or as tight as you want with a flick of the finger, which gives you a better fit.

They appear quality-made, and I like the personalized sizing capability, but they also don't look thick or wide enough for a good gun belt, and nothing I saw on the site indicated they are purpose-built for carry or support that market (if that's a concern for you).

I have seen these discussed before and have a question that I haven't seen addressed yet. The belt "fits up to 48 inch waist" per their website.

Ok. Suppose a guy has a 36" waist. Does he get 12" of excess belt left dangling? Or is he supposed to feed it through his belt loops for a neat appearance? Sounds like it would be a little awkward for daily use.

The website addresses cutting off excess.

Even the slidebelt's "survival belt" model has a disclaimer that it may not support all handguns. Nice looking dress belts though. I prefer a wider belt.

I have three made by our own Lobo. I'm sure the new owners will make his design ordered to your exact wishes. I prefer the lined one that is about 1/4" thick. It has supported many different handguns easily. The website gives you the directions on how to order.

Not a gun belt. After a while it will sag and that will make your gun feel heavier.

After experiencing a gun belt with a polymer stiffener I will never own any belt without one.

I have a dress belt from our own Snubbyfan. It supports a Snubbyfan holster. Very good quality and looks. Very simple design. As for an everyday belt I wear the Velcro under belt. Get it at the uniform supply. Working on classic and antique cars I wear so I don't scratch the paint. It supports a Snubbyfan holster
very well also. I Cary a J frame mostly.

I exclusively wear leather, lined, gun belts from either DelFatti or Milt Sparks.

These are heavy, 1 1/2 inch belts ( about 1/4 inch wide) that support a handgun properly.

They distribute weight, keep the gun where it should be, are comfortable and will last a lifetime.

Of course, I use only holsters from the same manufacturers: belts designed for the holster and gun. These are infinitely more satisfactory than mixing and trying to match.

The belt is a critical component in your carry gear. It makes a huge difference in functionality and comfort.

My experience with less expensive belts has been disappointing.

Looking forward to the arrival of my lined 1 3/4" Milt Sparks belt.

I'm using what was a so-so 1 3/8" Western dress belt with a generic leather pancake holster with 1 3/4" loops. It DOESN'T work well at all, as Rpg suggested.

This is wonderful info. Thank you all. If I could pose one last question: If you could buy one belt for dress applications, and carry applications (IWB/OWB), and price was not considered, what would you buy? I want to make one buy.

Thank you.

I have had EXCELLENT service from a couple of belts made by the gentleman who owns this business: AG Custom Gun Leather - Premium Hand Crafted Leather Belts.
They are of very good quality, are made from two thicknesses of belt weight leather (about a quarter inch thick), and wait time for a custom made belt is very reasonable. He also has some ready made belts available for purchase. On top of that, he is a pleasure to do business with. I've been wearing one of these belts (1.5" wide) daily for about four years now and there is no sign of sagging or weakening. I've bought one for each of my sons and one for my wife (1.25" inch wide with a tapered tongue) and all have been of great quality and look good in the process. Follow his instructions carefully for measurement and your belt will fit you with the buckle tongue in the center hole. I order my belts with seven holes as opposed to five. The seven holes are spaced more closely together than are the five holes so it gives a more adjustable option if things change a bit. There are several good belt manufacturers, but I cannot recommend this vendor any more highly. Good value for the money ... At this time, I really cannot see me having to replace these belts for any reason in my foreseeable future! Good luck in your search.
