A prayer request.

They removed 2 stones but there is another one lodged in her damaged kidney. They inserted a stent that she will have for 2-3 weeks.

Her good kidney is severely swollen so she will be on anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic meds.

What hurt me most was that I couldn't be with her through this as I was 20 miles away getting a CT scan.

Thank Heavens for grandkids with wheels.

A few years ago my youngest had one of those. It's hell listening to your child moan in pain until the diagnosis was made and the magical drugs kicked in.
He was walking when it finally passed out - He did too...
No fun at all.

Hope EVERYTHING comes out OK with Ruthie....

It’s good she’s getting taken care of pretty quick. I’ve noticed in my aging brain that ER events, excluding traumatic injuries of course, that any mention of heart and you’re in now. But they have been very quick with patients with kidney stones or stones history. An X ray &/or CT tells them yeah, that’s real pain…fix it. Hope you’re both okay soon.
