At my age, these warnings are just an annoyance. Having lived through countless told and untold health warnings, I question the numbers. First, Cadmium safe numbers are close to zero. 4.1 micrograms might sound like a large number until you know what that equates to. Let's see - 4 micrograms is equivalent to .0000004 grams. How does someone measure that??
Is there any reason to believe California's numbers are based on any kind of actual science as opposed to someone plucking numbers out of thin air? I have no confidence in anything California does being reasonable and rational.
Once again conspiracy theory is overwhelmed by logic.Is this a recent development? i.e. less product with increased price while keeping the same volume?

The high lead content in chocolate is attributed to the use of leaded gasoline in Nigeria, where most chocolate originates. Apparently the Nigerians still use leaded gasoline. I am not making this up.
