Sometime I amaze myself, not much, but I do.

I had this piece of aluminum that morphed into a useful tool. If you have enough junk that happens sometimes......

When I am attempting to loctite or oil a firearm with a little oil or whatever, I needed a dimple to put a drop or two and keep it corralled.

So, a drill press, and a couple of special drills, that drill 3 cornered holes, and success!!!

And a sewing needle dipped in what you are applying helps control minute amounts and precise placement. I've gotten use to using Biology dissection needles left over from my college lab kit. A simple sewing needle mounted in a 1/4" dowel is basically what I am talking about for those who don't have the dissection tools. different size needles deliver different amounts.
