Accuracy of the 325 in 45 ACP- is it a 2 Piece Tensioned Bbl

I've seen lots of good about the 2 piece barrles (as far as increased accuracy) and lots of bad as well (as far as longevity and them 'flying off'- though I've yet to see a picture of that ever happening).

Do the Smith 325 Series have the 2 piece Bbl?
Any practical experiences with these and their accuracy?
I watched a Clint Smith Thunder Ranch DVD and he used that gun for most of the demos.

My 325 NG has a shrouded barrel and I wish it didn't. I have seen way too many barrel shrouds come loose or off.
