Just shot my model 27 with for the first time in years with open sights, I recently removed the AimPoint red dot and installed a set of Millet adjustable on it. Unfortunately as I can't locate the originals which were also adjustable. My question is after installing the new sights I had planned on running through a number of rounds to get an accurate zero as I just centered the windage and guessed on the elevation. By the third cylinder I was pretty much dead on with no adjustments, granted the 27 is equipped with an 8 3/8 barrel and a target model trigger and hammer and dosen't appear to have been fired a lot. So what do you think, got lucky, inherent accuracy with the long sight radius or what? Thanks
