Accurate Gun Powder

To answer your question, no. Years ago, when I reloaded, I used Accurate. While it was a very accurate powder it was the dirtiest crap on the planet. Think WWB dirty X 20

Accurate No. 2

I have used it before and a good bit of time has past. I know it is dirty,
but it was available. I will be loading 38 sp, 9mm and 45 ACP.

Thanks for all information provided.

I use Accurate 2230 and No.9 and it's not dirty at all for me. But I get most of the data from the Speer Reloading Manual #14.

I have used #5 for years and load it in 9mm 49m 38, 44, and 45, I find it to be the best powder I have used for indoor shooting.

Speaking strictly of handgun ammunition IMO Accurate Powders are no dirtier than any others and less than many.

2,5,7, & 9 cover the area of most handgun loads and are nicely spaced so that you can do most everything you want. Although sometimes a 6 & 8, might come in handy.
They meter very well and are dense making them good for loads in smaller cases.
I have not opened my Unique or 2400 cans in a long time or used 110/296 in favor of Accurate and Vihtavouri.

nine mm loads with Accurate No. 2

I am planning on loading a 124 grain round nose lead bullet.

Any suggestions on loads for this?

I've used No. 2 and No. 5 in 45 ACP. I wouldn't call it dirty, in fact it is cleaner than most.
