Anyone tried these. Looks like a 230gr wad cutter.

230gr wadcutters are great for bowling pin matches! These are moly coated and grab them good even when hit off center. I consider them a niche item not novelty.

I'm humbly corrected. While I couldn't imagine a use, I'm not familiar with shooting bowling pins.

I don't know guys. I'd hate to get hit with one even at 550 fps...

I never used them but I think they're so long you have to load them in .38 Special brass but they will fit only in .357 Magnum cylinders. I recall reading that Jerry Miculek used a similar bullet for pin shooting and they were loaded to very high pressures.

What has a bowling pin ever done to you.

627 8 round 357 magnum V comp as pictured above. I do load them in 38 spl brass becouse it reloads faster.
I will check my data but I'm pretty sure I'm happy to get about 750-800 fps. I don't need to push them at full power to knock bowling pins back 3 feet.

I used to regularly beat up bowling pins (by throwing a very large heavy ball at them) but I do not dislike them enough to actually shoot them.
