I was reading this article and I just don't see some things matching up

A loaded 12-gauge shotgun was found in the glove compartment of the Honda Civic Lanza drove to the school with two magazines containing 70 rounds of Winchester 12-gauge shotgun rounds.

How do you store a 12gauge shotgun in the glove compartment? 35 rounds in one magazin? Does that seem legit?

At the house, investigators found books about autism and Asperger's syndrome as well as an NRA guide to pistol shooting.

I don't know exactly how the NRA guide for pistol shooting might have influenced the shooting... Feels like just stirring a little bit in the pot..

An unnamed source told investigators that Lanza was an avid gamer who played "Call of Duty" and other games and rarely left his home

I am pretty much just waiting on the claim that he tactically trained with call of duty his rampage.. He was eating cereals in the morning, maybe they had some influence too ?

Investigators found articles on other shootings and a holiday card containing a check made out to Adam Lanza for the purchase of a firearm, authored by his mother, Nancy Lanza.

Anybody who would sell him weapons would commit a felony. So where all the guns including a 10mm Glock owned by Nancy Lanza?

Documents indicate that authorities found a gun safe with shotgun shells and numerous boxes of bullets. In a bedroom closet, they found ear plugs, a handwritten note regarding ammunition and magazines, paperwork on guns and a metal bayonet.

Would love to get more information on the paperwork of those guns.

That whole article just seems like everything is taken for a reason why he went on rampage but the real one.
All the security measures currently in effect preventing him from having a gun failed including a mother without common sense making those weapons accessible to him.

I think the main problem we have here is that we have a young adult with a serious illness, high on medication without the proper support and supervision till it escalated to this awful event.

The shotgun was in the trunk, not the glove compartment. You could see it plain as day in the live aerial shots.

The 10mm was next to his body - he shot himself with it.

The article talks about many items found in the house. I believe his mother was a NRA member which explains the NRA guide. I didn't think there was anything out of the ordinary in the article and it said it would be quite a few months until the investigation wrapped up.

How about they found 3 30 rnd mags at scene but 154 spent cases something does not add up

The NRA pistol book was probably Basic Pistol. The state requires it for a pistol permit.

The magazines and spend round count. It said he had 3 thirty rounders, but not how many 10 or 20 rounders. As 30 round magazines are the focus of leftists and stateists it most be noted as 30 round. Normal people would have said he had X number of magazines...

CBS mentioned that there were high capacity mags found that he had used but still had rounds in them. He was doing tactical reloads.

And that is the vital piece of information that the anti's refuse to acknowledge or consider.

It's funny that the very first news report that evening the state police reported that he only used handguns for the shooting. The very next report that night from the forenics lead guy said he used a bushmaster rifle. But I can tell he was lying. I think the powers to be want not only our assault weapons but all our semi autos. I think about a Leo going into a hot zone with a maniac. But don't have the answer. My heart goes out for the lives lost and for the Leo's doing there job but it's not the honest gun owners fault and not the gun manufacturers fault. This shooter had mental problems and shouldn't of had guns at all.

I think this is one big cover up against all gun owners.

It is a tragic event abused for political power games and nothing else.It just proves that they are not even able to enforce the laws we have right now, otherwise Mr. Lanza would not have had access to guns

Media spin, and 'anti' propaganda, changes every time there is a "news" program, and we still "saw" the day it happened, a news clip showing the LE, removing the "assault" ?? rifle from the trunk of the car??? all does NOT 'add up' make sense and changes daily,,,pure media 'BS' and spin, yes, they are coming after us, the "majority" for the "sins of a few"....enforce the laws that we have !!!

There were two drum magazines for the 12 gauge shotgun in the house, as well as assorted ammunition, though far from a 'lot'.

I noticed early on that the media just failes to mention that he KILLED his Mother, and STOLE HER FIREARMS.

It's for their agenda of 'more gun control fixes everything'.

True, but lets watch the video again. Take note there is no magazine equipped on the weapon and only one round was in the weapon (obvious the chambered round). Its also noted that 70 more shells were found in the trunk along with the shotgun.

Now you have a Saiga 12 thats capable of holding 20+ shells at one time. Yet for some reason you feel there is only need for ONE shell in the weapon. The other 70 shells you just throw in the trunk...........***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
