I have a k frame .22 and a 586 that I carry in a belt holster. A few years ago I was climbing down out of my tree stand and the strap came un done on the holster and my gun dropped from the tree. As a result I want to get a shoulder holster that will fit a 6 inch 586 and a 6 inch model 17. If possible I would like to be able to adapt it to hold a j frame .357. Is there such a holster or should I just buy two holsters.

thanks guys!

Two holsters. different frame sizes, unless you want a custom holster set-up for the two.

Lobo Leather has a shoulder rig that will take multiple holsters. You buy the rig with a holster and then buy a second holster. Check with Ray for details on your specific needs.

Galco also makes a good rig, but the only thing I dislike is that with the Miami style it comes with vertically placed magazine pouches rather than the newer horizontal ones which are more comfortable because of balance. I asked if I could order one with the newer mag dual pouch, but was told I'd have to order the rig for the weapon and then any mods I wanted, I would have to make a separate order. So I still have as yet to purchase my own. Seems like they could be more flexible.

Suggest you look at Bagmaster holsters. Google it. They make a shoulder rig that is priced right and you can unsnap the holster and change it to whatever holster fits the gun you need to carry in a matter of seconds. It is nylon not leather, but I have one and it works great. Good luck.
