Good Afternoon Everyone: I would greatly appreciate help in a how difficulty will it be to sell and what is a reasonable retail price for my S&W 586, Performance Center, .357 Magnum, 3" Black Carbon with presentation wooden grip. I am not trying to sell it on this forum.

I bought it in January 2015 and shot about 500 rounds through it. The revolver is great and accurate. I just want too many other firearms and need the money. It is an L frame with a K frame wooden grip. I also have a S&W K frame rubber grip and a Hogue L frame rubber impact grip.

Any advice would be appreciate.

I am assuming you still have the box and papers. At 1K or less it might sell as LNIB. There are plenty of them around on line for about $1100 new that are not selling. That is the price you would be competing against.

JMHO

Thanks for the reply 1enigma. Yes I still have all the papers and box. I was thinking of trying to get $900. Is this a gun sought after or is the market who buys them limited? :)

I would think the market would be somewhat limited -- it's not like it is a collectible classic. It's a nice gun, but there are a lot of nice guns out there. And in terms of being a nice 3" gun, most guys looking for one are going to be thinking about getting a Talo edition 686 gun (or even standard factory gun).
