Advice on Holster

I wanted to get some advice for a concealed carry holster please. I have a S&W 3913 which was purchased new in 1994. Has been shot a few times and stored in my safe forever. Decided to change from my mouse gun (Colt Mustang Plus II .380) and start carrying the 9mm. Any advice would be appreciated.

This one is my favorite for my 3913. It is a K & D Holster. I don't think they are in business anymore. I can't find them on the web anymore. It can be worn inside the waist band or remove the clips and the belt slots are there for you to wear on a belt outside.

I'm new to all of this but I have a leather Bianchi pancake holster that I ordered through Safariland. It is made specifically for my .38 Chief's Special w/2" barrel. It has a thumb break and fits like a glove. It was fairly reasonable for gun leather. $85.00 I think which included shipping.

My 3913 rides in a Kramer #3 or a Milt Sparks VM-2...neither of these are cheap solutions, but they are outstanding products in ALL regards.

You need to make a few decisions first however....IWB, OWB, Paddle etc what material do you want synthetic or leather, thumb strap or not?
How much is too much?

I always buy the highest quality holster that I can afford and it has yet to let me down. Also, invest in a very sturdy belt. If you can fold it in half vertically it is NOT sturdy enough. Makes a big difference in comfort as well.

Selected Andrews Leather (saddle style) for my 3913. After 2 month wait it came and was worth the wait. Craftsmanship excellent in every way. Gun retention very good and I would recommend Sam Andrews work any day. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Thanks again to "novalty" for your advice.

Don't skimp on holster and belt and buy them together! I think this is as important as your choice of firearm Plan to pay $400+ for the set and plan to wait months (or years for the best).
