With a barrel like that you need not squeeze the trigger to hit the target-LOL

I've got a M586 that I bought brand new in the early 1980's. It's proven to be an accurate, reliable and super strong revolver. A bit heavy with the full under lug but that was part of the Python type look. Shoot yours in good health.

Here is an very early 586 shown with a 1972 Colt Python. IMO, the 586 is almost as pretty. I know l offended more than a few with that comment. LOL.

When it comes to visual appearances, the old Python is the winner. When it comes to durability, the nod goes to the L-frame S&W.
