......comes The Common Cold.

Seriously, WTFudge!?!?

Folks at work are dropping like flies....and now me too.
Yesh, I habba code, and I'm a sissy, and I ache, and my wife doesn't care about me, and the dogs are breathing to loud, and the neighbor kids are on my lawn, and the mail is late, and my throat hurts....

I'm going to take a nap...if anyone cares.

After 76 years I find I don't often get a cold and I don't think I have ever had the flu. The few times I did get a cold in the last 10 years I always got it three or four days after I went to church. So I started sitting in the back and not shaking hands with anyone plus carrying and using hand sanitizer. In 2020 I went to church one Sunday in Jan and not again until April 2021 a month after I had my shots. Best thing is to avoid crowds and teenagers and children because they are a walking contagion. Is this the proper use of the word contagion? Anyway I am sure you get the point.

Time to pull that mask back out of the glove box.

Get ready for it! Some friends and I were remarking that during the year + of masking and distancing, asides from those that caught covid, none of us got sick with anything (well, maybe a hangover or two). No colds, no flu, no stomach bugs, nada. Definitely going to have to get used to getting the sniffles again.

Exactly what I intend to do. I suffer very badly from colds and was very happy to avoid them the last 16 months. I see no need to go through that misery if I can avoid it by wearing a simple mask. I wore masks often in my career and never found them particularly onerous. Makes sense to me.

I'm sick also.........

I'm sick of politicians saying do as I say..........not as I do.

I'm sick of bottom of the barrel medicos telling me whats good for me because they are defined as "public health officers"

I'm sick of facebook, instagram, twitter commandos who think they can bleat their anti this, pro that ideas under the auspices of knowing the facts.

Hmmm might just be a bug though.
