After years of buying conceal carry guns.

I didn't go back to my roots on this. My first carry
piece was a .25 Astra. Went from there to a bunch of
auto-loaders. Now I'm happy with any J-frame snub, in
a Mika pocket holster.
All the autos seemed reliable enough, but you'd get
the occasional failure. I never have that with a snub.
JMHO, TACC1.

I'm usually not above jumping on board for the latest fad, but I never did jump on the 380 bandwagon. There are plenty of good 9mm semis or j frame revolvers that conceal just fine in a pocket, so why compromise unnecessarily? I may get an older PPK or an old Colt Mustang some day just because I think they are cool, but I doubt I'd ever carry one.

Funny thing... I've carried everything from a .22 to a .45 and I've never even owned a .380 or carried one.

Started small in the following order;

IJ TP22 .22LR
High Standard Derringer .22 mag
AMT Back Up .380
S&W 60 .38 Special

still have the 1969 60, its an old friend;

Best.

I always said I would never carry an auto but since the
S+W shield came out I'm in love. I still love my revolvers but until my shield starts acting up Im sticking with it.
