age and worth of my new 10-6

hi all,new to this site,

guess im in the right time range.just bought a 10-6 unfired in the box with paper work and cleaning rod with wire brush.ser.#2d42xxx.100% except for some light surface rust on back strap, which can be cleaned up some.can anyone tell me when it was born and about what it is worht?

This is likely 1977 vintage. Value depends on the local market but could be anywhere from around $300 to $400 or so depending on the actual amount of rust, etc.

like to help ya out but just takin a picture on these ditil camers is a major undertaking for me let alone finding it after its took and putting it on here, but it sure is purtty.thanks for the info so far.
