OK, who are these people that decide to conduct a conversationor a family reunion in a crowded venue right in the middle of a door way or a heavily traveled path. Like for example at a gun show in an aisle between tables!!! come on man....Now in all fairness it doesnt happen in gun shows, but in malls or other crowded places. You'd think they would get the hint after you walk between them and say excuse me that half the venue would hear. or how about at a gun show and your interested in a particular piece on a table BUT the owner is busy conversating to his buddy about about something and is completely ignoring potential customers....Is it time to pull up a chair???

Never mind a mall, try a small group of French kids who are trying to find the main group in a crowded pedestrian tunnel at commuter time in a London Tube station. Seems that when I get mad everyone reacts to my "authority" voice, even when I have none. ;)

Had that happen on a plane once. They got graveyard deputy voice. I got a dirty look, but they moved. They can file a hurt feelings report with someone who cares. Useless patience is unethical. Patience with little ones and those who are not physically capable due to age or other infirmity is necessary. If one cannot tell the difference, they are part of the problem.

Happens to me every Sunday after church ends. All the old ladies stop in the aisle to chat which annoys all the old men who are trying to rush to the restroom.
