Does anyone have any recent experience using this ammunition? I would like to try it in my M&P .22 and would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

I've used it before, always in Ruger single action revolvers or lever rifles.
I wasn't all that impressed with the accuracy but boy can it hit hard!

Before using it in your M&P make sure your slide is steel and not Zamac or low grade alloy or it seems like it would snap it like a twig.

Someone will be along with more knowledge about the M&P shortly.

What about Centurion?. It's the only thing Incan find in stock right now. I am a little weary spending money on stuff that doesn't work well.

All the Centurion I have seen is a 40gr LRN rated at @ 1200 fps which should work fine in most semi auto 22's. It's not anywhere near as hot as the Supermax stuff.

Thanks for the heads up. I will use supermax in my revolver and single shot rifle. I know that stinger jams a henry ar-7 from other range reports. CCi segmented has a case like a stinger too.

I accidentally bought a brick of this stuff, not realizing it was hyper velocity (1700 fps) ammo. Not wanting to use it in my handguns, I sold it to a buddy in my gun club. It is advertised as designed for rifles and specifically for hunting. I have read reviews citing mediocre accuracy but hard hitting performance. It uses copper plated hollow point, 30 grain bullets.
Since I did not shoot any of mine, that's all I know.

How will this handle firing it through my STG 44/22? Anyone know?

I've put 1500 of them through my M&P22. No problems shooting them.

I ordered them because they were available at a reasonable price. I didn't look at the spec until I pulled the bricks out of the shipping box and saw "hyper velocity".

Have tried a few in a 15-22, Kimber Rimfire Target, and a Single Ten. They worked well, seemed hot, but did not have the greatest accuracy. Kind of like what others here have said. Should work fine in your M&P 22.
