ahrends j frame RB tactical combats

I am considering getting some ahrends j frame RB tactical combats (3 finger grip) but I can't find any pics of them mounted. Would anybody have these on their j frame?

Heres a photo of my 19-3 wearing Ahrends round butt tacticals in Cordia along with my 66 no-dash with Ahrends round butt retro combats for comparison. The stocks on the 66 are Goncalo Alves finished in pure Tung oil.

Oops, missed the part where you asked about J-frames. The egg nog must have not kicked in yet...

They're osage orange (bois d'arc) when they were brand new and still very yellow. They've mellowed to a richer orange since then.

Thanks jlanecole. I deciding between the moradilo (have them on my 329ng) & the brown stained maple. What do think of how they feel.

I like them, but they do feel fairly slim, especially toward the bottom. In all fairness, though, I had the Pachmayr Compacs on before, which are decidedly fat at the bottom. I have pretty medium-sized hands. I can still pocket carry my Model 60 with no real issues.

Factory round target bananas may work for you. I had them on my 36. Feel good to me. Bob
