I saw something on the TV news tonight that I thought was like magic. It is an AI program that converts any old still photo into a brief video clip. I had not heard of it previously. Ain’t AI wonderful? Scan down the attachment to see examples.

AI is of the devil. It's like television and social media and drones and guns, nothing wrong with them in the right hands. In the wrong hands it can turn ugly or used for ill. AI has the potential for bad real quick.

One of the ancestry dna sites was offering a feature last year where you could upload a pic,colorize it and the face would move along with the head. Watching my great grandfather who died in 1918 was weird!

There’s quite a few videos on YouTube where the take historical photos and using AI create amazing videos.
Absolutely fascinating!
