Air Lite vs Airweight??

I think it comes down to what you are going to use the gun for. Basically, it is a tool and you need to decide what the job is that this tool will fill for you. I like the 38 spec round but feel my 638 is not designed as a range gun. I put enough rounds through it to be familiar and accurate if I need to defend myself. I also run snap-caps to dry fire and improve my trigger pull. That said, I bought a 686 to fire at the range and use as a Home defense gun because it is a joy to shoot and I do not have to worry about it wearing out under these conditions. The 638 get's carried more than shot but that is what I bought it for. The lighter it is means I can carry it more and that is what I was going for. I, and this is just me opinion, want a gun that is as reliable as possible with a decent round that I can have with me as much as possible. The Airweight fits that slot for me.
Frank.
