OK...I've seen the model 10 pic thread, the 6" barrel pic thread, the stainless thread, etc., etc.
Here's a spot for those of us to showcase our trusty ultralites. So..if you have a S&W whos model number starts with a 2, a 3 or ends in SC, PD or TI....lets see 'em! Here's mine...a 329PD and the 296Ti

Anybody that says they carry around 2 pounds of steel their hip on a daily basis in the middle of summer is out of his mind. I can carry any of these in shorts and a t-shirt without breaking a sweat . . . Here's half of my collection . . . The 360 Kit Gun is my most accurate while the 7 shot 386PD is reassuring and the scandium framed 625-10 is a bruiser.

Hey, Glocklist, nice wood on your 360 Kit Gun. I, too, like my 360 very much, but the elevation seems to max out at 15 yds (Cor Bon 125Gr. +P, 1100fps.) While that's an OK range for PD, I wonder if you also noticed limited elevation capability on your 360.

I was also gonna comment on the killer stocks Glockist! Shortranger...does that big dot sight affect POI or is it factory? Nice tools one and all. I didn't even know they made the 242. It is a baby brother to my 296!

No, I installed it. The tritium center impacts at the same place as the original factory sight. The big dots take a bit of getting used to, but they are fast.

Thanks for the compliments guys. RAMS, you're spot on about the adjustable sight issue . . . you can't see it but their is about 1/32" between the rear sight and the top of the frame. I really hate how high the front sight mounted. I've seriously considered sending it back to have the front ramp cut down to a more reasonable height that would also allow it to fit through most j frame holsters.

As for the for pau ferro Hogues, I've relocated them to a 3" premagnum 640. As you can see the KG now sports some Ahrends boot grips. They're still a little orange to compliment the front sight. I've also thrown in the rest of my AirLite family which includes a 2inch 327, a 2inch 317 and a 351PD along side an intruding airwieght 37-2 . . .

Thanks, Glocklist. I guess I should experiment with various ammo weights and velocities to see if there is something good for PD that will zero at 25 yds. out of the 360 KG.
You sure have some good looking stuff.

Thanks RAMS. I've decided that since I can't collect all the revolvers I come I across, I'd just have to concentrate on lightweight snubbies. I've scoured Atlanta gun stores frequently trying to find my next addition. I don't mind the ILS, but for the past year I've been looking for a pre lock 342, a 242 and a round butt 2 inch model 12. I just came across a perty 4 inch model 12 with a square butt. I'm hoping it will sell so I'm not tempted to settle.

I'd defintely experiment with your ammo selection. My 327 seems to prefer higher velocity 135-145 grains, though it doesn't mind the 135 gr +P 38s. I've got steel guns for shooting 25 yards so my kit gun serves a self defense role. At 30 feet, I can consistantly keep 'em in the eye socket. That extra inch really makes a difference over my shorter snubbies.
